Speech & Language Therapy

Our pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists offer the latest evidence-based treatments to support and improve upon your child’s speech and language skills. With decades of experience, we specialize in evaluating and treating children ranging in ages from birth to 3 years, and beyond. We focus on the areas of speech and language development, including expressive and receptive language, Apraxia of speech, articulation and phonology, pragmatic/social language, memory, cognition, auditory processing, and fluency. During therapy sessions, your child will engage in fun, play-based activities tailored to their needs, such as blowing bubbles, using Play-Doh, doing puzzles, or mimicking animal sounds during book reading. Our therapists employ an array of strategies that are both fun and educational.

Feeding Therapy

Our pediatric Speech-Language Pathologists provide individualized, evidenced-based treatment for infants and children with feeding and swallowing disorders, stemming from both medical and sensory needs. We work with children with gastrointestinal disorders, food allergies/intolerances, premature birth-related deficits, oral motor dysfunction, Autism spectrum disorder, Cerebral Palsy, cleft lip and palate, various genetic syndromes, feeding tube dependence, sensory integration disorders, structural abnormalities, and cardio-respiratory conditions. We help families establish mealtime routines and diminish negative behaviors and feelings associated with eating, aid infants and toddlers with trying and accepting a variety of food textures, improve oral motor skills for children with severe feeding aversions, increase consistency and quantity of foods consumed in therapy and at home, and improve caregiver-child interactions around mealtime.
